I offer online 1-on-1 tutoring for kindergarten through 5th grade in the following subjects:

Phonics

I use many fun and interactive games to help students learn letter sounds, sight words, rhyming words, and segmenting and blending sounds to read simple words and fall in love with reading!

Reading Comprehension

I teach basic reading comprehension for young students. I also teach upper elementary students reading comprehension strategies such as main idea, sequence, cause and effect, and much more. I use graphic organizers and hands-on activities to help them connect to fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

Writing

I teach students grammar, punctuation, and word choice to help them write great sentences, paragraphs, essays, and short stories.

Math

I help students gain confidence and fall in love with math by using interactive games and manipulatives (toys, blocks, etc) to help students learn basic math concepts and skills.
